Spring & Fall Bear
Spring bear hunts occur in May & June over active baits in the Duck Mountains. Fall bear hunts are in mid-September just east of the Duck Mountains. We have a decent percentage of color phase bears, ranging from blond to chocolate brown.  Weather can vary greatly, so you need to be ready for anything. And bring your rain gear.  Ladder or hang on stands are used for archery hunts, and shots range from 15-25 yards. Rifle hunters will use ladderstands or ground blinds, with typical ranges being 50-100 yards. Accomodations are at Blue Lakes Resort (www.bluelakesresort.com)
Archery Whitetail
Hunt whitetails in September or October in the Killarney area.  The abundance of agricultural land provides lots of food for the deer, and lots of hunting opportunities for archers. Accomodations are in comfortable, heated cabins located at the outfitters farm. You can also choose to make this a combo hunt with waterfowl.
Ducks and geese are plentiful in the area. Mallards, pintails, Canada's, or snow geese. Take your pick. Be ready to get up early, get the decoys out, and wait for the birds to come in. Late mornings and early afternoons can be spent chasing sharptail grouse and hungarian partridge. Ducks and geese again in the evening, or you can choose to make it a combo hunt and sit in a treestand waiting for the buck of a lifetime.
Duck Mountain Whitetail
These hunts occur around mid-November in the Duck Mountains. Temperatures can range from just above to well below freezing. We hunt from treestands over looking scrapes and secluded meadows, and we typically stay out all day. That big chocolate antlered Booner could come along at any time of the day!! Accomadations are at a secluded cabin in the Ducks that you have to see to believe!!
